ZONEX® Injection is a combination of Cefoperazone (3rd-generation cephalosporin) and Sulbactam (β-lactamase inhibitor). This combination provides enhanced antibacterial activity against resistant bacteria, making it highly effective for severe bacterial infections.

 Respiratory Tract Infections – Pneumonia, bronchitis, lung abscess
 Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) – Pyelonephritis, complicated UTIs
 Skin & Soft Tissue Infections – Cellulitis, abscesses, diabetic foot infections

Indications 

 Severe Bacterial Infections – Resistant Gram-positive & Gram-negative bacteria
 Nosocomial Infections – Hospital-acquired infections requiring potent antibiotics
 Complicated UTIs & Respiratory Infections – For critical cases requiring IV therapy
 Sepsis & Septic Shock – Effective against bloodstream infections

Dosage & Administration

 Recommended Dosage:
 Adults: 1-2 g every 12 hours via Intravenous (IV) or Intramuscular (IM) injection
Severe Cases: Up to 4 g per day, as per doctor’s prescription

 Administration Method:
 IV Infusion: Dilute with W.F.I. (Water for Injection) and infuse over 15-30 minutes
 IM Injection: Inject deep into a large muscle

 To be administered only under medical supervision!

Allergy Alert: Avoid if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins.
Kidney & Liver Caution: Dose adjustment may be required in patients with organ impairment.
